Professor Elachouri Mostafa is currently working, as professor, at Mohammed first University, Oujda, Morocco. His main interests are: Ethnobotany, ethnopharmacology and research on toxicity related to medicinal plants. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Sciences from University Mohammed V. Rabat (Morocco) in 1980. The same year, professor Elachouri joined Mohammed first University in Oujda –Morocco, where he worked as assistant during two years (from 1980 to 1982). Then, he continued his studies in Strasbourg-France, he obtained DEA Master equivalent degree . In 1985 Professor Elachouri Mostafa Graduated from Luis Pasteur University of Strasbourg- France “Doctorate-es-Sciences†under the supervision of Professor Jule.A. Hoffman, Nobel prize in Medecine 2011,. In 1985 Professor Elachouri Mostafa joined again Mohammed first University for working as Assistant Professor. In1997 he obtained the grade of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Mons-Hainaut University in Mons-Belgium. In 1997 he has been appointed as Lecturer in Mohammed first University (Oujda-Morocco). By the beginning of the 2001 again he has been appointed as Professor in the same establishment. Promoted to Professor High Grade C since 2007. Professor Elachouri Mostafa is presently Thesis Director of many PhD candidates in the area of Ethnobotany, Ethnopharmacology and Toxicology. In 2011 Professor Mostafa Elachouri have been awarded of CV Raman International Fellowship for African researchers for 2010/2011. Prof Mostafa Elachouri delivered a lecture on 7th Feb 2011 in department of Quality Improvement Programme, Jadavpur University, Kolkata India .Also Prof Mostafa Elachouri attended as invited lecturer, in different ecientific meeting: the 15th Annual Conference & 1st International Convention of Society of Pharmacognosy held at KLEU university College of Pharmacy,Belgaum. India, during 18-20th Feb 2011, at Kolkata, India. In Fevruary 2011, professor Elachouri delivered plenary lecturee in International Seminary on Medicinal Plant which held in Ouargla (Algeria) on April 2011. In February 2012, professor Elachouri have been invited as speaker in 12th International Congress on Ethnopharmacology, Kolkata, India. Professor Elachouri has participated in the seminar cum workshop on Plant Exploration, Herbarium Techniques and Calcutta University Herbarium (CUH) held at Department of Botany, University of Calcuta (India). As invited speaker, Elachouri Mostafa delivered a conference entitled The potential of phytogenetic resources in Morocco, the need for safeguarding the natural heritage. 5th International Congress on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIPAM 2014)- ZARZIS (TUNISIA) from 17 to 20 Marsh 2014.

Branca M. Silva is graduated in Food Engineering from the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto, Portugal), since 1997. She also received the Master degree in Quality Control (Scientific Area Water and Foods) and the Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Scientific Area Nutrition and Food Chemistry) both from the Faculdade de Farmácia, Universidade do Porto (Porto, Portugal), in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Currently, she is an Associate Professor (with Habilitation) at the Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade da Beira Interior (Covilhã, Portugal). She is (co)author of about 100 scientific papers and book chapters, has more than 3850 citations and an h-index of 34. She is Editorial Board Member and reviewer of several international journals and co-editor of 2 books. She has also been invited speaker and part of the Organizing Committee Boards of several international conferences.

Dr. Parham Taslimi started his doctorate education and focused on enzymes and antioxidants. He investigated the antioxidant capacity of different extracts which were isolated from various plant sources and determined their active components. In this context, he investigated the antioxidant and radical removal capacities of the plants that are unique to Anatolia and he made these studies his works in high-impact journals. By using his knowledge and experience in microbiology in higher education in his later studies, he has also worked on the purification and characterization of some enzymes for Olivetol in his doctoral studies and biological activities such as antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticholinergic, and antiepileptic effect

Ana Costa is an agricultural engineer graduated from the University of BrasÃlia, with a specialization in Molecular Biology from UnB, a Masters in Genomic Sciences and Biotechnology from the Catholic University of BrasÃlia and a PhD in Molecular Pathology from UnB. She is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation.
